Cajun Crabs & Shrimp Bar & Grill

Overview

If you're in the mood for a vibrant dining experience in Harker Heights, Texas, Cajun Crabs & Shrimp Bar & Grill is the place to be. Nestled at 572 E Central Texas Expy, this spot brings a perfect blend of seafood and Southern hospitality that’s hard to beat. Whether you're a local or just passing through, this diner-style grill offers a casual atmosphere where you can indulge in mouthwatering Cajun seafood with a twist.

The first thing you'll notice when you step inside is the laid-back vibe. The rustic charm of the space, complete with a lively bar area, immediately sets the tone for a relaxed yet flavorful dining experience. It’s a great place to unwind after a busy day or even catch up with friends over some delicious food. The décor, adorned with vibrant touches, echoes the spirit of the Gulf Coast, making it easy to feel at home.

What sets Cajun Crabs & Shrimp Bar & Grill apart from the rest is its bold menu. This isn’t just another seafood joint-it’s an adventure for your taste buds. The highlight, of course, is their extensive selection of Cajun-style dishes. From perfectly seasoned shrimp to juicy crabs, every dish is bursting with flavor. The seafood is always fresh, ensuring that every bite is satisfying. One fan favorite is the signature Cajun boil, which features shrimp, crabs, and corn, all cooked to perfection in a delicious, spicy sauce.

The menu doesn’t stop there. For those who prefer something else, they offer a range of grilled fish, fried platters, and even po'boys. The seasoning is spot on-just enough heat without overwhelming the natural taste of the seafood. If you’re someone who loves a bit of spice, you’ll definitely appreciate the flavors here. On the other hand, if you’re not too keen on the heat, there are milder options available, too.

As for the sides, you’ll find Southern classics that pair perfectly with the main courses. The hushpuppies are crispy on the outside, soft on the inside-ideal for dipping in the tangy sauces they serve. Their coleslaw is also a must-try; it’s fresh, creamy, and balances the spices in the main dishes. Don’t forget the garlic bread, which is always toasted just right.

The drinks menu is just as impressive as the food. Whether you're in the mood for a cold beer, a refreshing cocktail, or a glass of sweet iced tea, there’s something to suit everyone’s taste. The bar area is perfect for those who want to enjoy a drink with their meal or just hang out after work.

Our first time in and will now be one of our favorite places! It gives a small hidden gem vibe. Plenty of parking, clean atmosphere and the friendliest staff from the moment you walk in. Our waitress Leslie was just beautiful and awesome. Got the order right and fast. We had mozzarella sticks and fried oysters to start. They were seasoned very well hot and fresh. For dinner we had the fried catfish basket, Cobb salad and fried shrimp basket with corn on the Cobb. Everything was so good and great portions, we had to take home food. The mango lemonade was also very refreshing. I was very impressed and will be back.

Tucked into a shopping plaza, this spot is an absolute gem for seafood lovers. It’s casual, kid-friendly, and delivers on flavor, service, and southern soul. We ordered the ½ pound shrimp, crab legs, sausage, potatoes, and corn — and it did not disappoint. The shrimp and potatoes combo? Chef’s kiss. Add in hush puppies that were golden and crispy, and you’ve got yourself a full Cajun feast. The Sunbrew Pina-Rita was a whole vibe — sweet, tropical, and exactly what I didn’t know I needed. The service was excellent, and every bite of food backed it up. The staff was welcoming and attentive, and everything came out hot, seasoned, and cooked just right. Great food, great drinks, great people — this spot is a win! We’ll definitely be back for round two.

Quite yummy Hawaiian Chicken (no need for the fries) and Jambalaya! Crab cakes are more like patties with more breading than Crab, Jalapeno Poppers had cheese oozing out!!!! Very friendly staff and great atmosphere!

Wow so impressed I have eaten here multiple times but tonight it was really good. The ceviche could’ve used a little bit of more lime, but it was still good and fresh. The service was great. My waiter, Rodrigo was cool, he suggested the new dessert they have which is a churro cake and it was to die for. Can’t wait to come back.
